Reasearcher: Val White
In conjunction with the preparation of a report on the historic environment for the Holmes Chapel Neighbourhood Plan, further research into the eleven structures in the parish listed by English Heritage as being of historic interest will be conducted. These range from the Grade 1 listed Parish Church of St.Luke to a Grade 2 metal boundary post erected by the London and North Western Railway next to the railway viaduct. Information on other buildings of historic interest which are nonetheless not listed will be sought, with a view to local listing by Cheshire East Council.
